500 ml bottle, from Hos Walter, Ebeltoft. ABV is 8.0%. Black colour, moderate and creamy brown head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, cinnamon and other spices, a hint of oranges and liquorice. Smooth mouthfeel. Smooth and pleasant flavour too, with the same elements as the aroma, moderate bittering hops.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Nose is more ethanol than anything, very subtle roast. Medium body, a dry roastiness and again booze, more than anything else. Quite simple to be honest for a beer this big. Not bad, there's just so many better big Stouts out there. And no, the adjuncts are not detectable. 270121
