Walk up to the bar and what do you ask for? A Beer, naturally. It doesn't always matter what it is, or what you want in this case. You want something light? We've got A Beer for you. You want something hop forward? We've got A Beer for you.

You just want to camp out on that bar stool and crush something? We've got A Beer for you. We're only marginally apologetic that it's not kettle soured with Mosaic & Amarillo hops. This is better. This is a straight forward, refreshing extra pale ale utilizing the newest varieties of German aroma hops (Hallertau Blanc & Mandarina Bavaria). Call it a session IPA if you need, call it a pale ale if you prefer, hell, it doesn't matter what you call it, what matters is that you stop talking about it and throw A Beer down yer gullet.

Checked the 1 pint from my son at their brew pub downtown. Golden in the glass, smooth grainy, nothing wrong, easy drinker for the neighborhood.

OK, so my pounder can does not look as cool as the one pictured here, disappointing. Pop the can and pour you get a big overflowing foamy mug, beware! The smell is yer typical cheap lager, you know, a little cream corn, heheher. The head is so rocky and big it never fades. Taste is big bold sizzling lager. I'd say this is more like a premium lager because its a little more insulting than plain pale lager. Gives you a little unexpected kick in the malt likker category. Big, slightly hazy pale impressions on the eye. 16 english ounces does this justice for a session. Big lager kick in the ass. At first I thot it was a little too rude, too arrogant, but now I got used to 'er. Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow!

A golden APA with a thin lacing creamy off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light mineral notes, light cereals, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light mineral notes, light citrus, nice and smooth. On tap at Falls City Market, Louisville.

Pint can from Pien, Espoo. Hazy, golden beer with medium and stable head. Aroma has malts, exotic fruits and hops & flowers. Taste has malts, some caramel, dry and bitter grass and minimal touch of grapefruit/citrus. Medium body, creamy and soft. Taste should be more strong.

500ml can @ AWS Meetup. Sweetish, caramely malty and grassy with some pine and citrus, hints of hay and grapefruit. Okay, doesn't feel very fresh though.

Pine and some malt. A beer and nothing more, as the title suggests. Amber pour with some head. Light bitter end. Can.
