Vous etes le coq de rien. Suffice it to stay, some beers are meant to be the cocks of walks, and some are not.
This Session Saison safely falls into step with those beers striding confidently along that most fateful walk. Brewed with a dash of spelt and a healthy late hop addition this fine, frothy friend was fermented warm to perfect attenuation and carbed up high for a flavor that is at once bright, rich, juicy and ultra crisp. Strut your stuff, man.

Mostly clear gold pour. It has a bready, yeasty, fruity aroma. The flavor is of spicy yeast, grainy, bready malt, mild hops, some fruity character. It’s good but a bit bland for the style, so I’d call it a fairly average beer overall.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a lot of grain, grass and bread with a bit of light tropical fruit underlying. Flavor is similar with a combination of grass, grain and bead supported by a hint of tropical fruits.

Great label. I have some issues with this beer though. It is grainy and features quite a bit of acetaldehyde. That combination just screams Budweiser, and if you blindfolded me and gave me this beer to sniff, I'd say it smells like Bud. It's a bit stronger, so maybe it smells like one of the A-B malt liquors. That's really all i get from the nose, green apple, and a doughy graininess. Flavor hints at green apple, semi-sweet graininess, doughy, hint of lemon.

16 ounce can. Light gold color. Firm, creamy white head. Mild grainy malt nose has yeasty notes. Sweet, citrusy, yeasty notes upfront. Silky mouthfeel. Light, nutty wheat notes from the spelt. Lemon zest and hay in middle. Crisp and dry in finish.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is a little sour, a little pale stone fruit. Med body. Flavor is fruity with an earthy aspect and some very, very light sour. Juicier than most saisons. Not wholly dry, but not very bitter. A bit off the usual saison path. Easy drinker.

16oz can. Really pleasant, modern Saison. Not so out of control with the yeast, no awkward warm temperature tones ect. Clean and easy drinking for the style. Light pepper tones, but just as much if not more pleasant citrus hop tones. Really well made. Solid.

Cloudy pale amber, with a medium head. The nose shows a touch of alcoholic plastic, really yeasty.
