Bottle at Olstugan, Andra Lang. Poured a clear dark brown with a round light tan head. The aroma is resin hop red berry fruit yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with a light fruit roasted malt yeast spice hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A nice heart warming beer but the resin hops start to dominate.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 29 Nov 2013) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with caramel, ginger, roasted malt and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, ginger, clove, cinnamon, dark bread and a certain roasty bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Quite spicy and really tasty. Very nice.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget Majorna. Pours blackish brown with a small dark mocha head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is spicy with roasted malts, sweet liquorice candy, allspice, sassafras, wood, dark chocolate, hay, ginger and hint of cinnamon, raisins and tamarind. Taste is bitter and spicy with roasted malts, bitter chocolate, dark roast coffee, allspice, cloves, lemon zest, liquorice root, minerals, wood and hints of caramel, toffee, cinnamon and hay. Mouthfeel is round, soft, tiny spicy astringent and medium bodied. Finish is spicy with roasted malts, allspice, cloves, ginger, hay, dark chocolate, caramel, minerals, metal and lemon zest. Too spicy for me to fully enjoy.

Bottle at "Göteborgs Porterfestival" 2013. November 16.Served during a brewery tour at Beerbliotek, sat upstairs and had Adam tell us about the beer. Only 10 days on bottle, so CO2 perhaps wasn’t quite there just yet, might get even more potent scent with some more gas.Clear dark reddish brown color, brown head. Cinnamon, spicy, alcohol, warm ripe banana scent. Sweet, spicy, malty, fruity taste. Warming alcohol. Spicy aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
