8 4 7 3 16Draft at Helst, Amsterdam. Black with a beige head. Aroma of roast, licorice, vanilla, oak, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with a fairly thick chewy texture, light chilli warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Pours pitch black. Blackcurrant, liquorice, strong blackcurrant, loads of smoke, wood smoke, charcoal, campfire, bit of umami stuff. Medium body. Not bad.

Roast amd caramel. Booze and some dark chocolate. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bitter and tangy finish. Tap at brewpub.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with medium beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, some licorice. Bit too sweet for me. Low carbonation. Medium to full bodied.
