Bottle. Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Banana and yeast aroma with light caramel. Banana and caramel flavor with light yeast. Medium bodied. Banana and caramel linger with light yeast and light spice.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber, medium off-white head, dissipates fairly quickly, some lacing. Aroma is belgian yeast, phenol esters, crystal malt, dust, caramel. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, sharp, acidic, phenolic, field grass. Kind of burny. Medium body. Unimpressive.

Tap at 1022 in Old Sacramento. Pours amber with a beige head. Aroma of mild yeast, mild fruit, a bit of malt. Flavor of fruity esters, a yeast note, but not getting banana. The malt is nice, and overall it fits the style in a moderate way. Finishes less than dry, with mild fruit/malt aspects.
