Keg at Craft Clerkenwell. Initial lively cherry flavour but then it fades into something a bit weird. Guess that's the saison part. Feels weird to have the cherry without the sourness. Can't quite describe it, but it's starts well but then it's a bit strange.

330ml bottle. Clear, deep ruby colour with small, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, pink-ish head. Fruity and minimally spicy aroma, sweet-ish notes of cherry, a cautious touch of mustard seed. Taste is dry, tart, fruity, minimally herbal-spicy, notes of cherry, hints of morello, a touch of lime zest; rather watery finish.

Deep ruby color, not much head. Dry woody, cherry aroma. Light-bodied. Mouthpuckering cherry flavour. A bit lactic finish. Very dry. Watery (as only 3.8%) and simple.

Bottle at home in Lpndon - sourced from the brewery. Pours a beautiful clear red with a frothy pink head; the beer looks excellent. Surprisingly restrained cherry aroma, just some impressions of berries, light saison yeast, wheat bread. Light sweet flavour with lightly tangy cherry notes, modest jammy berry character, some wheat bread, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced on the finish, with more understated cherry, general berry notes, some berry puts, mellow yeast expression. If looks could kill. Overall, very drinkable, but could do with more overt cherry tartness.
