This low alcohol cherry saison is deep cherry red. Dry and acidic with a strong cherry aroma and flavour. Delicate mouthfeel, definitely not sweet.

Keg at the brewery. A nice clear red purple coloured pour with a lasting loose light pink head. Aroma is cherry, berry, marzipan, light tart fruit, raspberry. Flavour is composed of tart cherry jammy raspberry, black cherry. Little chalky. Palate is tart and crisp, moderate carbonation. Pinch of acidity. Good.

Keg at Partizan. It pours deep red with a decent light pink head. The aroma is rich, sweet, fresh cherry, bakewell tart, earth, wood and cherry drops. The taste is crisp, tart, juicy, ripe cherry, cherry drops, mild acidity, wood, vinous, red grape, bakewell tart, light and damp leaves with a dry, cherry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very fruit forward and not so much saison character.

Keg at CBC Limehouse, 19/12/16. Rich cherry red with a decent crimson cap. Nose is wood must, light vinegar notes, musty cherry skins, damp wood. Taste comprises tangy cherry, red berry must, flicker of yeast, straw, grains, taste berry rinse. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough saison ... on the tangy/sour side.
