Bottle to pint glass. Hops are restrained throughout. Malt is cloying on both aroma and flavor.

Gusher! Hazy deep amber beer, massive cream colour head. Palate is light and has modest fine carbonation. Thin caramel - toffee malts. Appley streak. Orange peel and marmalade. Light pine. Appley finish. A bit messy and very disappointing.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours copper with a small creamy beige head. Aroma is citrus with roasty malt. Near full bodied. Flavor starts with lots of citrus, even grapefruit, reveals some rather untasty malt, but then the hop picks up again with a burn. So this is really, really bitter. Pretty citrus. And the malt drops into the abyss. So, for a high ABV hit which is bitter, this should do the trick.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma with light summer fruit. Grapefruit and light pine flavor with light mineral notes. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and light pine lingers with light mineral.
