On tap at Brasserie Saint James, pours a hazy dark reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals bready malt and gentle farmhouse notes. Flavour is dry and lacking much character, with bitter biscuity malt and light farmhouse notes. Not much pleasant here. Weak farmhouse ale.

Draft at The Copa, in The Sands Casino. Brown pour with a reddish hue, decent beige cap. The aroma is farmhouse yeast, floral, and spicy. Tastes maltier than expected, but the spicy and floral notes come through as well. It’s an interesting combination of farmhouse meets amber ale... overall a nice find in the casino restaurant.

Capped 750 from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark copper with a beige head. Aroma of malt and pepper. Maybe a touch of fruit. Med + body. Flavor is malty and peppery. Could be some citrus hop. The mouth impact is firm - pepper notes all over in a mild way. Seems to be some earth lurking around. It’s all a bit mild in most things, pepper perhaps aside, but the sum is greater than the parts - or something like that. Peppery tasty in the finish. Really a good experience.

A reddish copper Saison with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light butterscotch, not a Saison, so-so. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light lactic notes, infected, sourish mess. On tap at Aces and Ales Nellis.
