Sample at Gallo’s at the Columbus Beer Week Green Flash/Alpine tap takeover on 05/05/2015. The beer pours a clear golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of tart citrus, dank hops and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly funky citrus and hops. Decent overall.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber gold with a white head. Aroma is lightly sour with a bit of barnyard. Med body. Flavor is rather sour melon with accompanying funk. Mouth-twisting at first, but it’s not super anything, except perhaps the fruit (melon?). It’s moderate sour/funk.Pretty good stuff.

On Tap at Bier:Thrity Clear deep golden.orange with a small fine wispy light yellowish beige head. Nice sour light malty aroma with a good citrusy peel character. Lots of citrus hoppiness and quite tart. The juicy hop flavors blend well and the combination is quite good. I’d say they nailed what they were after. Very tasty.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a small, white head. Aroma was light tartness, but plenty of light sweet malt notes, some lemon. Flavor had plenty of fruit notes, with some lemon, sweet tart, grapefruit tartness. Was like a solid pale ale with a little bit of tartness in there. Pretty refreshing and easy to drink.
