Our IPA has lots of malt and hop character. This style originated during Queen Victoria’s reign as a strong, flavorful ale, which was able to survive the ocean voyage from England to India during the British occupation.

Apparently renamed "DFRNT IPA". (Check the web!) Pours copper with a creamy/foamy beige head. Aroma is moderate caramel with light hop. Med + body. Flavor seems quite floral. Blind taste I’d call it English bitter. A bit hoppy for that, but the flavor profile is there for me. Finishes less than dry, and bitter enough to please. Brings Fullers ale to mind.

Bomber pours copper with gold hues and off white head. The modest aroma offers up buttery notes as well as spicy hops and vague bitter hoppy notes. The taste is similar with bitter spicy hops and some grapefruit like citrus hops mixing with buttery notes and a bit of caramel malts. The bitter hops and sweet butteriness don’t go too well together.

22oz bomber from Dcshiller. Murky orange-brown, nice big off-white head. Some toasty melon in the aroma, orange. An odd West Coast meets English IPA, certainly very fruity, tropical. Some odd almost lemon-lime tones in the background. Almost seems like there are off flavors that have been covered up with hops. I liked it at first, but by the end of the glass I was pretty unimpressed. Unique, but not so impressive.

Bottle from a trade with cbkschubert. Pours hazy orangish color with off white head. Citrusy aroma. Lemon and other citrusy flavors with some caramel and iced tea. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Craig.

Outstanding tangerine nose with associated orange and lemon notes. Clear orange, medium yellow head, great lacing. Grapefruit and tea flavor. Grapefruit peel finish. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side. Really a wonderful American style IPA, despite the Union Jack on the label. One major flaw: sold in small bottles (22 oz.) I want this by the growler! Thanks, Bockhorsey!

This is a good IPA. Copper color. Short, white head. Bitter hop aroma with lots of citrus, and some pine. Mild hop bite, much less than I expected from the big aroma, but still good flavor.
