Cask (handpump) @ MBCF17 [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ] Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Thwaites Rum Porter ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, rum. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, sweet malt, rum, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170119] 7-3-7-3-14

Manchester Beer Festival 2017. Has light roasted malts in a drinkable texture. Its rum was not really found on this occasion.

Cask at the 2017 Manchester Beer Festival. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Aromas of dark berries, chocolate and licorice. Light rum action in the flavour, splash of blackcurrant, chocolate. Quite a nice brew.
