# 278; 3/2016. Netradiční typ stoutu (?), poměrně sladký s výraznými uzenými tóny.

(Keg at Villi Wäinö, 20140602) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had smoke, peat, smoked ham and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were smoke, burnt malts, sweetness, fruitiness, ash and bitterness. Afteraste was fruity, ashy and bitter. Smokiness was quite mild and the whisky was almost completely hidden. Still a nice brew.

Tap at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Colour is black with very small slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Licorice, coffee, some chocolate, hints of whiskey and roasted malts. Strange tart aroma but flavour is typical for basic imp stout.

Draught @ Villi Wäinö. Rated on 2.6.2014
Aroma is ashy with some peat and vegetables. Also some licorice. Flavour has peat, some sweetish whisky tones, peat and licorice. The vegetables are present in the flavour side too, but luckily they are rather mellow. Finishes with rising whisky tones and wood - but does not sting. A bit messy and ashy. I like the whisky here though.

Aroma has oat, chlorine tones, licorice and ash. Flavour has oat, peaty whiskey tones, licorice, coffee and hints of ash. Slightly sweet. Gets more intensive and better at the end of the glass. Not messy anymore, actually quite delicious.
