Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours dark copper with a slight beige head. Moderate pie spice aroma. Med body or so. Moderate pie spice flavor. Not overdone. Mild spice burn. Might even be a hint of squash in the finish. Needs Imperialization.

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a amber topped with a sand head. Nose is spice pumpkin pie and some sweetness. Taste is as the nose with a nice pumpkin pie spice and a good malt.

Newer (grey) label on bottle Nice crisp deep copper and bronze coloured body with hints of ruby and a thin tan head. Aroma of nice light alcohol, very strong pumpkin and squash notes and a solid fruity and sweet scent at the end. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malt tastes throughout of the pumpkin and squash with a deep caramel and fruity sweetness and a little nutty finish. Aftertaste shows a strong squash flavour, some lighter spices, a bit of metallic bitterness at the end and a solid complexity with yeast and herbal flavours. Overall, a nice and strong squash-based beer with a light spice and well-balanced sugar profile. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Made in Oregon (Terminal D - PDX Airport) in Portland, Oregon on 08-December-2013 for US$4.95 sampled at home in Washington on 27-December-2013.
