Sampled from the tap at the taproom. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces nicely. Aroma has a combination of grains and grass with a touch of pine and a decent amount green pepper underlying. Flavor combines grass and green pepper that is backed by some bread notes.

(Bottle) clear, bright amber colour with a small white head; aroma of jam, tropical fruit; dry flavour with a long, medium bitter finish; creamy palate

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a rich orange/gold color with an off white head. The aroma has caramel, berries, toast and citrusy orange. The flavor has more orange, a little pine with a lightly caramel backbone. More of a toasted caramel actually. Pine and orange in the finish. Not bad.

Hazy golden with a white head - Nice hop aroma with citrus - Good malt in the back and the most dominant flavour is hops with grapefriuts - Grapefruit flavour goes into the finish - This was nice

Keg at the taproom, 13/11/14. Clear golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is skunky hops, bitter citric peel, grapefruit, light minerals, pine. Taste comprises red grapefruit, pine, semi skunked hops, bitter grapefruit, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a skunky hop wash. Solid IPA.

Good to be rater 10. Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours copper with a beige head. Nice strong hop aroma - citrus and spice. Nearly full bodied. Caramel is a bit oddly roasty, hop is near dank, and there’s some hottish spice bits. Not to mention it’s really citrus rind. Earthy? It’s strongly flavored which is good, but there seems to be a disconnect between the flavors. In the finish it’s earth and spice bits with rind. Strong finish, so I like it.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear copper body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up mostly resiny hops that have pine and a spiciness going on. The taste is nice with hoppy goodness that has pine sliding into a rye twang note. This has big ole’ resiny hop goodness going on that’s right in your face (and your mouth). Pretty solid.

Draft at Biergarden - Encinitas, CA. Pours lightly hazy amber with a creamy topping. Very piney with lots of sticky grapefruit rind. Fairly sweet, heavy on the palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A bit too sticky and resinous in general, which holds it back. Still OK but lacks balance.
