Tap. Pours hazy golden, medium white head, decent lacing. Aroma is clove forward. Flavor has cloves, wheat, bubblegum, light sweet, little bitterness. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Tasty.

From Anchorage haul back.
This was poured into a weizen glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange to yellow color with a big white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute and a half. Light lacing started and then slid adequately into the beer.
The smell started off with a sour banana and then a light clove followed. As the beer warmed up, the clove settled out a bit.
The taste was pretty much the same as the smell. There was a light sweet to sour banana aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there for the style and for me.
Overall, decent hefeweizen. I might have had mine a bit old. Still I’d have this again.

Bottle shared at a private tasting. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of big banana notes, wheat, spice, yeast. The taste is yeast, spice, wheat, banana. (See what I did there?) Medium bodied, strong lingering spice.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours translucent gold with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is very banana/clove. Medium body, or almost. Flavor is very banana/clove. There’s an odd aspect - suggests wheat. Oh well, guess that’s necessary. I think I’m even getting a bit of that old Fleer’s bubblegum thing. Certainly one of the better hefes I’ve had lately.
