3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek wordt bekomen door het macereren van handgeplukte volle krieken op jonge traditionele lambik gedurende minstens vier maanden, in een verhouding van één kilo per liter. Daarna wordt de kriekenklambik geassembleerd met jonge lambik en wordt alles gebotteld, en zet de vergisting zich verder op fles. Hierdoor ontstaat een zacht fruitige Oude Kriek, geraffineerd, en met evolutie in het glas. Natuurlijk fruit, zonder toevoeging van sappen, siropen, of suikers. Ongefilterd en ongepasteuriseerd.

3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek est le résultat de la macération de griottes entières, cueillis à la main, pendant au moins quatre mois dans du lambic traditionnel/ La proportion est un kilo de griottes par litre de lambic. Ensuite, le kriek lambic est assemblé avec du jeune lambic et le tout est embouteillé, et la fermentation continue dans la bouteille. Ainsi, une Oude Kriek douce et raffinée est créée, et qui évolue dans le verre. Du fruit naturel, sans jus, sirops ou sucres ajoutés. Non-filtré et non-pasteurisé.

Odense lambic evening in October. Red with a small pink head. Aroma of cherry with complex funk, vanilla and oak. Dry and very tart cherry flavour with oak and funk.

Bottle at the pre-Pre-Borefts TZT tasting at Kim Jung Un Buurtcentrum, Zd. Hazy ruby with thin offwhite head. Sour cherries, sweet cherries, more grain and funk, almondy cherry stones, early strawberries. Lovely easy fruity tart sour. Quite acidic and compensated with fruity sweetness. Over medium body and soft carbonation. Very fresh fruity and crisp tart. Very nice.

Bottle shared at TZT mini-pilot, Zaandam. Hazy purple with a small pink head. Aroma of sweet and tart cherries, intense but not the onslaught of the Kriekenlambik. A nice funk coming out along with citric notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Kim Yong Un buurtindoctrinationcenter. Hazy deep ruby with small dark pink head. Massive tart cherries, oak, almonds, quite some lemon, funk, dank cellar notes, vanilla, soft hay, soft mineral not and herbs. Way less cherries and sweetness than the plain lambic version, but more funk, lambic and complexity. Over medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with sparkly carbonation.

Thx for organizing & hosing kraddel! 750 ml. bottle sampled. Dark pomegranate red, head fizzes away. Nose is lots of cherry skins, sour, clearly less fruit than the kriekenlambiek version, more dry almost funky cherry skin, some medium funk here,… Still in body lots of skins, taste, felt less intense coming down from the previous one, still very good, skins, low pints, hint of oak.

Pours dark, unclear red (mild pink-ness ) less intense red than the kriekenlambiek toasted. Smell is full, intense, cherries, toasted, less vanilla than the Kriekenlambiek toasted. Taste is intense, dry, very full fruity, immensly funky (much more than the kriekenlambiek toasted ) well noticable fruityness, obviously, with a very fine cherry aroma that is really balanced (more so than the kriekenlambiek toasted ) . more funk, more sourness, but less extreme fleshy fruityness. Very dry, very nice. I prefer this over kriekenlambiek...
