Bomber. Pours a clear ruby color with a thin white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of tart cherries and a hint of apple. The taste is tart cherry, cranberry, mild apple. Thin-medium bodied.

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark rose with a slight pink tinged head. Aroma of tart cooking cherries. Med body or so. Flavor is tart cider/cherry. Arguably there’s sugar, but the tart is the main thing. Not to mention it’s very, very cherry. Apparently the cider maker spent a couple of years trying to nail it. And he did. We’re talking something that wouldn’t be out of place in West-Vlaanderen.
