Peak is an alternative to standard stuffy bitters. We use a simple malt structure and balance the flavour with refreshing notes of mango and blueberries derived from the Citra and Mosaic hops.

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - light orange with a lovely night and fruit waft. Taste - more of that muesli thing. It goes grainy and nutty though. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - epic nose but disappointing palate.

Half-pint, cask ale at Old Gate. Misty amber coloured body, filmy layer, spotty lacing on the glass. Grainy malts and citrus on the nose. Blended taste of pineapple, grapefruit and bread. Decent fruity bitterness to the finish. Drinks well. Satisfying. (Hebden Bridge 04.07.2018).
