Tap at the brewpub. Was told there’s not much, certainly not enough to bottle. Pours black with a slight tan head. Aroma is whisky and dark sugar/treacle. Flavor is whiskey, sort of light bourbon/vanilla, with a lot of warm sweet dark malt. Touch of alcohol. Finishes rather like bourbon, if you can imagine putting a lot dark treacle in the bourbon. Whisky candy. Delicious. Think I’m getting mild alcohol burn on my tongue. Did I write delicious? Understatement.
