Red Rock’s Golden Halo has a subdued malty character with a bright golden color, and a Nobel hop aroma. It’s crisp, clean flavor comes from it’s balance between German malt and Czech hops.

Bottle from the Utah State store on Harris in Salt Lake City. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is rather sharp, seems fruit/citrus. Med body, almost. Flavor does seem fruity/citrus. Mildly bitter. Good drink.

Bottle from Red Rock
Appearance: Crystal clear golden with medium sized foamy white head and good lacing
Aroma: Ripe fruits, bubble gum, dirty socks
Taste: Yeasty, cardboard, medicinal, hot alcohols with a bitter finish
Bad, footbalmed
I picked up 2 bottle of this from Red Rock. I opened the first beer at home, the presentation was beautiful. Clear golden with a medium sized foamy white head and lots of lacing sticking to the glass as I swirled it around. That is where the goodness stopped. After a few sips and trying to understand what was suppose to be happening in this beer, I footbalmed the rest of the glass and bottle.
So, the second bottle I brought to the tasting. Hoping I just had a bad bottle the first time. This one poured cloudy orange with a small white head and some lacing. The aroma and taste was the same as the first one. Footbalmed it again.
