Bomber from CraftBeerKings/Plaza Market. Pours very dark brown/black with a dark tan head that rapidly fizzed away. Aroma is spicy/herby, but in a mild way. Still, strong enough to cover up dark malt. Makes my nose tingle. Med + body. Not really fully sturdy. The flavor is lots of mixed spice, and tho I don’t really know what chai is, I’ve had it in tea and coffee, and I’d say there’s definitely chai here. There is a chocolate, burnt malt backbone, but this is mostly about the complex flavors. And I’m not really getting heat. Smooth, tasty, almost exhilarating. It’s going down way, way too easily. This is really good stuff - quite an adventure.
