Sample at RateBeer Gallery II. Pours cloudy auburn with a small beige head and good lacing. Aroma is lightly smoky, trees, sage brush, creosote bushes, like the high desert in springtime. Flavor is the same, hugely herbal, very sage/creosote. Lightly sweet and little bitterness. Medium body. Points for originality for sure, but not really something I will be seeking out anytime soon.

Tap at Gallery II: Beauty From A Barrel. Pours hazy dark orange/brown with little head. Aroma is like eucalyptus? Something a bit medicinal and unusual. Med body. Flavor is rather medicinal. It’s dry and towards herbal bitter. Very different.
