Bottle from the brewery, drunk 12/27/24.
Hazy bronze-blonde. Rapidly-fizzling bubbles.
Vanilla and ginger ale contributing big perceived sweetness, with good apple character towards the end. Barrel aging creates a round, mellow character, as well.
Quite sweet, though with lots of spice to balance. Ginger, vanilla, random peppery notes and good cider characteristics (mostly juicy apple and pulp). Very big, round, soft body. More vanilla and candied ginger lingering, with ginger heat retronasal. I see what they're going for here and for the most part, it works, but it's undeniably very sweet.
