His name is Matt Vandenberghe and he created a sweet peach tea drink using Eagle Rare Bourbon as the base spirit. Tomme had a chance to taste these magical drinks during Seattle Beer Week a few years ago and has been looking at recreating this cocktail in beer.
The base beer is our famous Angel’s Share that we aged in fresh Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for 9 months. To this we added some awesome whole peach slivers and a splash of Brettanomyces Clausenni to ferment the peaches. The beer has a great peach nose and a long carmelized bourbon finish. One of the most experimental of all the track series.

Bottle at the pre-Pre-Borefts TZT tasting at Kim Jung Un Buurtcentrum, Zd. Dark brown with offwhite head. Big sweet deep roasted malts, massive bourbon, oak, raisans, dates, roasted nuts, massive rye. Creamy sweet and rich fruity, have to really imagine caramelized peaches to get them in focus but I guess they added to the nice fruity sweetness. Big sweet and syrupy. Full body, velvety smooth and soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Track #11: Devil Went Down To Georgia on 09 Sep 2018 at 14:40 - Score: 8

Bottle sampled by Kim Yong Un and his buurtcentrum buddies. Dark brown with bubbly dark beige head. Lots of bourbon, caramel, brown sugar, thick sweet malts, milk chocolate, light strawberries, grass, soft peach, cognac, light boozy, more bourbon vanilla. Quite sweet and medium alcoholic bitter. Full bodied with light booze.

Vintage 2017. A very dark brown beer, almost without head, but there are some beige bubbles in the edge of glass. Aroma has strong dried fruitness, raisin, prune, some barrel and vanilla, also sweeter and fresher fruitness. Taste has dried fruitness of raisin, also some freshner fruitness, drying barrel, even the sweetness is a quite high level, hint of vanilla. Almost full bodied. Lot of dried fruits, but the great balance once again.

Mycket gott.

Bottle. Deep, opaque orange-brown body, medium beige head. Boozy nose, heavy on bourbon, peach, sticky-sweet raisin, and sherry. Body tangy, leathery-sugary, lots of bourbon, raisin, sherry, and prickly boozy heat, with peach subdued to an increasing degree with warmth. The base beer stands out as always.
