Bottle shared at chriso and Ruth's pre GBBF tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Grainy aroma, with vague citrus notes. Light to medium sweet flavour, with some toasted grains, pine, bread. medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet on the finish, with light earthy bitterness, more grains. Eh, not the best.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [260217]
Orange, very hazy, a few bubbles floating on top, no head
Aroma of soft caramel malt, slight mango, where’s the hops? - very dull aroma for a DIPA
Taste of sweet caramel malts, barley sugar malts, alcohol, almost no mango, slight hint of tea?, hardly any hops - just barley sugar malts with some vague fruit, poor flavour for a DIPA
Palate - Very soft carb, medium body (bit thin tbh), rather sweet malty, some alcohol. Finish of barley sugar malts, prominent alcohol.
Overall - I think this is the blandest double IPA I’ve had. Threw out half the bottle. Not good at all.

Sampled @ ChrisO Pre-GBBF Shindig. Clear orangy color, average sized off-white head. Aroma isn’t very nice, don’t like it. Some mango and hops in there after a while but it doesn’t concinve me. Decent beer though.
