This beer pours a clear deep copper color with a medium creamy off-white head that dissipates slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and toffee. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, roasted malt and fruit. The finish is hoppy with a pine and toffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle. Pours with a clear, deep golden hued body with a medium sized, just off-white head. Aromas are of citrus, floral, grass, pine and tangerine with a slightly nutty/astringent malt nose. Clean fermentation in the aroma. Flavors are of citrus, ruby red grape fruit, grass, tangerine and marmalade. Medium to low bitterness that is much less harsh than the other two fresh hop beers. Low malt character (nutty, biscuit light caramel). Slightly off dry, medium carbonation (seems a bit less than the chinook version). My favorite of the 3.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours clear light copper with a slight creamy off-white head. Aroma is earthy/floral. Med body, almost. Flavor is earthy and mild caramel. Finally some citrus. Finishes mildly bitter. Not much hop burn.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a medium clumpy beige head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is vegetal, pine, spruce, caramel. Flavor is lightly sweet, some caramel notes, sprucy pine, biting bitterness that grows to the finish. Medium body, a bit of oiliness. My least favorite of the three.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma with light earth. Grapefruit and sweet malt flavor. Medium bodied. OK bitterness. Grapefruit and light sweet malt lingers with light pine.
