Bottle. Pale gold color with a decent head. Aroma is a sweet malty grain aroma. Taste is YUCK. Way too sweet and not even in a pleasant way.

$1.17 bottle at Trader Joe’s, Charlottesville. Pours yellow with a dusting froth of head. Almost no smell, lightly lemon. Tastes of metal, sewer water (not that I’ve had sewer water), lemon, and grass. Flat.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s in Davis, CA. Pours gold with a transient creamy white head. Aroma is a bit odd, but there seems to be a citrus hint. Med minus body. Flavor is not beer, but there’s something, and there is more than a hint of citrus. It actually reminds me of a cider much more than a beer. If I had a gluten problem, I might drink this as an alternate to cider.

12 ounce bottle from Trader Joe’s Charlottesville. Pours a clear very pale golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of nearly nothing. Some peppery hops peek out a bit. The taste is pale malts, the word papery comes to mind, and lemon hops. Thin, watery. Not terrible, but there are much better gluten free options out there.

Clear Gold, Nice Bubbly Head, Lots Of Lacing. Medium Body, standard carbonation. This is about all the good that I can Say. WTF is this? Unusual and rather unpleasant aroma, which probably could be attributed to stuff it is made from - Sorghum. Taste is even worse. Once again Sorghum dominates with sour finish. If it not for those two things, it would be just a standard lager. I’m just wondering who is the intended target market for this shit? Excuse my French. When you try different beers it is a given that you find some that a real good, some bad. Well this one is the WORST so far. Even if it were FREE, I would rather pay premium for a Bud Or Miller, drink water or milk... Take my advice, RUN don’t walk, RUN AWAY at all costs... Prime candidate for Drain Pour.
