Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Clear golden color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Herbal hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hop, dank grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated March 19, 2019. Aroma is hop forward - fruity and floral. Nice orange get, tangerine, pineapple and mango notes with hints of resin. Light cracker malt notes and a hint of alcohol spice. Some orange blossom and tropical flower notes. Pours a fairly clear, yellow gold with a medium sized, thick, frothy white head that exhibits nice retention as it slowly recedes to a small film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a light sweetness and cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness with a hint of alcohol. Moderate hop notes - tangerine, mandarin, orange pineapple and mango with a bit of resin and a light floral note. Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent West Coast IPA. Really light malt profile with a solid mosaic profile and a bit of floral esters.

Tap at Capitol Beer. Pours gold with a white head. Strong fruit/citrus aroma. Med body, maybe. Flavor is rather exotic fruit with some definite citrus. It starts bitter and it builds to a quite bitter finish. Not NW harsh, but more like something from New Zealand.
