Slight grapefruit aroma and low toffee. Ear deep garnet with light khaki head that patterns slightly. Rich crystal malt with floral hops and slight perfume. Maltiness remains late.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours ruddy with a creamy beige head. Aroma is malty with floral notes. Med body. Flavor is roast malt with floral/resin/citrus. Finishes dry and hoppy.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Caramel and backing hop aroma. Caramel and light pine flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Caramel lingers with grapefruit and light pine and some darker malts.

Tap. Pours clear red amber - definite ruby redness. Small beige head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is weak with notes of caramel, grapefruit and pine. Flavor is about the same lightly sweet, lightly bitter, with the bitterness increasing to the dry finish.
