Draft at Pappadeux. Big nose of pineapple and stone fruit. Hazy orange juice codor in the glass. Thin head, but that's okay, since he filled it to the top of a larger glass than a pint, but it's what he could find that wasn't frosted. Initial mouthful is a little thin, like an English IPA from cask, but maybe just low carbonation. Not totally bitter, which can be nice. Hops are indeed more toward the fruity side, and the malt has a slightly dry finish. Seems a little strong, but that may be because I had a mixed drink before this.

Pours from can a clear orange--gold color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of oniony hops, citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short piney hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Aroma is fresh grapefruit peach peel some mango and cactus fruit. A hint of caramel. Taste is bitter juicy slightly grainy stuff. Bit alcoholic finish with some rather strange grainy bitterness. Drinkable and rather smooth. Ok.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered orange body. Big creamy off-white head. Earthy stale aroma. Really not that impressive at all. Thickish earthy APA-like malts. Weak old school hop tone, resinous and oily. I would be pretty upset if I bought a six pack of this one. Shabby example of the style, even worse coming from a newish brewery.
