Bottle from Tavour Solid black in color with a good sized tan head that slowly recedes. Roasty chocolate and light fruit with some hints of vanilla and barely some wood and spirit. Decent sipper.

Growler, pours black with a reddish tinge and no head. Aroma brings out notes of bourbon, vanilla and dry grainy notes that dry it out. Flavour is dry and hot, with smoky notes that dominate. Woody and smoky. Low complexity but clean and sipable. Decent.

Very nice, a lot going on but well balanced
