Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 20th January 2024. Clear golden amber with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Malty aroma with sweet candied fruits. Dessert fruits in-mouth, and a sweet and tangy fruit finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Can’t fault the looks for this one. Pours a bright golden yellow with a small almost white head. The aroma is quite sweet with honey and biscuits and hints of citrus. In the mouth there is much more bitterness with pine and floral hops and hints of tropical fruits. There’s some slight stickiness too which leads to a dry finish. This is quite nice.

Cask at the brewery. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light tropical citrus. The flavour is light bitter, with a smooth, malt, light yeast, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty light all round but still tasty and refreshing ale.
