ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, cocoa, light to moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180125]

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Very dark red with a thin head. Strength fairly hidden with smoothish roasted malts evident.
