Appearance- golden and pretty clear with a bit of haze, plenty of bubbles rising, half a finger white bubbly foamy head. Aroma- creamy caramel malt, orange, hops, tangerine, pineapple. Smells pretty good. Taste- lots of bitter hops, clingy bitter mouthfeel, orange peel, pineapple juice, very dry bitter finish.

Bottle my wife bought me from Bison Beers in Brighton- thanks! Gold with a tiny off-white head. Rather fizzy- a little too much so for my liking. Lovely peach and grapefruit aroma that carries on into the flavour with the addition of orange but is then rather obliterated by an aggressive bitterness. Nice crisp, clean, fresh finish and a full body for the style but the bitterness lasts for ages afterwards. It’s a tad too bitter for my liking; cut the bitterness a bit though and this could be an excellent beer.

Bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, juicy, tangerine, apricot, orange, toasty grass, biscuit and grain. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange rind, grapefruit, light soap, minerals, straw and touch of grass with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Crisp, refreshing and crushable. Very nice!
