Poured from an undated 16 oz can.
Aroma is hop forward with lots of grapefruit and tropical citrus. Lighter passion fruit and berry notes. Light dank, oily, resinous notes. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Pours a fairly clear, brilliant gold color with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Light lacing and small legs.
Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong notes of passion fruit, gooseberry and tropical citrus. Lighter notes of grapefruit and dank, oily resin that linger in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. The nelson and mosaic notes come through nicely in the aroma and flavor. Decent bitterness and alcohol notes.
