Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Tropical fruit aroma. Tropical fruit and mineral flavor. Medium bodied. Tropical fruit and mineral notes linger with light spice.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated June 20, 2023. Aroma is hop forward with tons of nelson character - loads of gooseberry and lighter notes of passion fruit, tropical citrus and white wine notes. Lighter mango and guava notes. Light, bready grain notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a rather clear, somewhat pale, yellow-gold with a medium large, fairly thick, fluffy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in the center and on the edges. Light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light bready, grain notes. Moderately strong bitterness and hints of alcohol. A fairly dry finish. Moderately strong hop notes of guava, passion fruit, mango, white wine and tropical citrus. Lighter notes of gooseberry than in the aroma. Mouthfeel is light bodied and crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a super nice IPL with a light, crisp, malt profile. Bright hop aromas with a bit of a danker hop flavor. Quite a bit of bitterness for the size of the beer, but it works well.
