Bottle from the San Mateo brewpub. Pours clear mahogany with brown highlights. Ivory head that retains as a collar. Rich bread and caramel malt aroma. Dark fruit in support. Flavor is similar to aroma, and the flavor also shows moderate pear in the back half.
