Draft at the source. Clear pale gold, white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, floral notes. Taste follows nose with some breadiness and light malt. Hints of pine. Kind of strange.

Bottle with no decipherable date info into a pint. A: Poured a deep rich orange amber with short thick tan head. Sparse carbonation. Very good retention and thick lace. S: Nice sweet/tart caramel and orange aroma. T: Citrusy orange and leafy hop flavors with medium bitterness. Dry caramel, wood and bread malt notes provide good balance without too much sweetness. M: Light medium body with fizzy carb tingle. Finishes clean and dry. O: Nice all around and not as malty as expected. The hops still shine through nicely. Well worth a buy when in season. Points though for no dating.

Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is a floral hop and some sweet malt. Flavor is more of the English malt with a minor hop. Finish is a little bitter and not as sweet as I thought it would be. This was ok a bit more hop presence would have been nice.

Sample at Bad Parenting Club (plus a few dirty aunt/uncles?!): NC Beer Edition on 03/28/2015. The beer is a clear copper color with a medium thin bone white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of pine, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, pine and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
