On tap at the brewery, friday evening before Great Taste 2015. Brown color. some funk in the yeast. Malt, no significant hops, maybe some brett. Caramel and a little charcoal. Light palate.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear copper color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Fruit, yeast and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of earthy yeast, malt and fruit. The finish is fruity up front with a mildly spicy yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Ale Asylum in Madison, WI. Appearance is a murky light brown with a thin white head. Aroma of slight spice, nothing much else. Taste is alright, kind of light, spice comes out a little, not bad.

Draft at AA. Amber-brown-red with a steady off-white/beige head. Clean and doughy, shos a little more balance than most American-Belgians. Quite fresh and full bodied, creamy almost nitro mouthfeel. Somewhere between a Belgian amber and brown. A really enjoyable beer. QUite clean and well attenuated for the style.

On tap at the brewpub. Murky yellow-brown body, like a Celiac’s diarrhea, thin off-white head. Aroma with abundant esters (banana and clove) and toasty malt. The esters carry over that power to the body, adding light hints of pineapple in addition to banana and clove. Creamy body, rich. Little discernible alcohol. Not bad.
