Single from Lone Star Bev. Poured into a clear plastic cup because we can't have nice things. Clear, pale gold, touch of spritz. Soft honey, apple water, melted down whiskey, saline. Taste is rounded & bittersweet, leaning sweet. Low tart apples, meaty, bit of malic acid, but not much. Industrial apple, slick barrel. Oily oak, watered down whiskey, & bitter, not so nice apple skin. Finish is cooling & lingering plastic. Prickly carbonation & some yeastiness throughout. ABV is about right. Complex & even okay at times.

Bottle sampled at Superstition, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry green apples and a touch of caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, with crisp green apples, a gentle acidity and a bit of treacle. Nicely constructed with plenty of depth. Really nice simple cider.
