Refrigerated 12 oz can poured into a glass. Cloudy light golden with big white head. Aroma is floral hops, medium body, medium/lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is floral hops.

Part of a 12-pack IPA sampler. Hazed, light golden-yellow colour with a big fluffy-bubbly white head, decent stay and leaving some foamy spots of lacing. Herbal fresh hop aromas over a touch of citrus and oats. The taste is where it shows a lighter IPA at 3.8% ABV with some decent citrus notes. It just does not have the full mouthfeel. A nice easy-going, refreshing light IPA.

This is the same beer as https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/long-trail-little-anomaly/831163/ - First pop on the can it smells like clean fresh pine, permeating the environment. No hint of IPA hops on the olfactory. Drank right from the can I notice it is skunk cabbage like nature in flavor and, its much thinner than most IPA. In the glass its slight haze with a nice topper rocky white head. Although it has a bitter vegetable attribute, its co2 level is quite nice. The bubbly cutting palate distracts from its nasty bitter taste, unlike most mouth coating heavy IPA, this is bubbly in its effect. Yea, you do get the IPA thing happening here, but I have had many APA that do quite the same thing. Thin, easy, low, ABV IPA flavored thing. Probably will not appeal to most IPA or DPA or impy IPA fans. But it does appeal to the initial cheap pale lager loving fan, it indicates the IPA feel for what IPA is all about. There, you have it, just another one of a billion IPA out there that are the same; but at least this stuff is a little different, and an easier to like form, at least from a civilized pale lager lover's point of view.

Can from Hannaford in the mixed 12 pack. Lightly hazy light gold in color with a decent bubbly white head that slowly recedes. Citrus and tropical fruit hints of smoke and a light bready malt to counter. Surprising body for such a small beer. Pretty nice for the style.

Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of mango and citrus, simcoe hops. Taste has woody hop notes, light hints of citrus. Palate is western in style but light on resin, extent on the woody notes but with a slight citric bite. Slightly watery but not bad for a light beer.

Pours a hazy amber from a bottle. Soapy lemon aroma. Watery bitter and thin in the mouth without a hint of real flavor. Meh.
