Bottle 330ml. @ LBE 2017 [ Linköping Beer EXPO 2017 ], Konsert & Kongress, Linköping, Konsistoriegatan 7, 582 22 LINKÖPING, Sweden. [ As The Beer Factory Leksand Kattjerks IPA ].Unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, marmalade hops. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, marmalade hops, sweet malt, caramel, fruity hops, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170318] 6-3-6-3-11

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 30 Sep 2016) Pale amber colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, grapefruit and tropical fruit. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, biscuits, grapefruit and a generous citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced IPA. Nice one.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in January 2016. Hazy golden/light amber with a medium white head. Fairly weak aroma of grass, light grapefruit and soap. The taste was similar and also on the weak side. Medium bitter. Aftertaste with some soap.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden/amber, rich head. Fruity nose with some buttery smoke. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Slightly citrusy, more peaty, somewhat medicinal smoke and ripe fruit. Mid bitter finish.

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Grapefruit, nuts and some earthy notes in the aroma. Hoppy, fruity, earthy and slightly sweet taste with a moderate bitterness and notes grapefruit, pineapple and walnuts. Interesting and a bit rough around the edges but perfectly drinkable.

How: Draught.
Where: SMÖF 2014.
Appearance: Brown colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Butter, bread, some caramel, hops, but so much butter.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Butter, bread, caramel, malt.
Comment: Either an erroneous diacetyl aroma and flavour, or just not a very good beer.
