Draft. Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Yeast and fruity estery aroma. Estery summer fruit flavor with light spice. Medium bodied. Fruity esters and light spice linger with yeast and malt.

Tap at the Rubicon. Pours dark amber. Light spice and roast malt aromas. Med body. Flavor is spicy! Backed by slightly roasted malt and mixed fruits. Quite a melange of flavors. In a way it’s like a Belgian yeast pale ale. Never would have picked out the thyme, but there’s lots of stuff in this.

On tap at City Beer (a reference to them in the name?). Pours with a clear golden hue with a small white head that lasts. Aromas are of weed, floral, herbaceous, spiced, thyme, lavender, spicy sage, provencal spices. Very spicy. Flavors are fennel, provencal spices, dry, phenolic and herbaceous. Lively bubbles and quite dry. Pretty solid.
