On tap after an 8 year hiatus. Pours with a clear, light bronze hued body with a lasting off-white head. Aromas are grainy, wheat, cereal, warm and malty, with mild esters (very mild for a dubbel). Flavors are of fig newtons, malty, nutty, soil, mild esters. Odd fruit flavor that I can not place. Persimmons maybe? Very lively bubbles, dry on the mouth.

Pours very dark amber with a creamy beige head. Roast malt aroma with a hint of spice. Med body. Flavor is roast malt with yeast/spice. Somewhat tangy. Tasty. Not dry, but not very sugary either.
