Can from The Black Toad. I loaded this as an ESB as that's what it tasted like. Appearance - amber with a slightly off-white and well proportioned head. Nose - dried orange, cake and light grapefruit zest. Taste - more of those fruit cake notes. And just a little fresh citrus too. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture. Dry and fairly balanced finish. Overall - yeah, nice as long as you decide it's an ESB beforehand.

Cask @ Seven Stars, Manchester. Clear deeper golden ale with a creamy head. Has a fairly full fruitiness that hides its strength to an extent, but its crispness also helps here. There’s pineapple in its aroma.
