The beer is a reddish-copper color with a medium thin white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of oak, tart cherry, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart cherries, oak, yeast and bready malt. The finish is moderately tart with a cherry and berry aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Keg at the source. Pours clear red-pink with a small head. The nose has tart cherry, a little wood, berry seeds. Light sweet flavour with moderate acidity, some further tart cherry, mellow woody dryness, nips of earth, bitter berry skins. Light to medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, lightly funky, fairly quenching, more berry skins and tangy cherry. Solid.
