Very dark brown with thin lacy head. Aroma has lots of toasted malts. Flavour is bittersweet with chocolate. Very roasty.

ABV: 5.2%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, light heavy hoppy, grapefruit, wood. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, grapefruit, wood - woody. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180124]

Bottle @ Torben Mathews tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel and hops. Sweet roasty finish.

Bottle @ Torben Matthews tasting. Hazy very dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, a little roasted malt and moderate hoppy - pine and citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 011117

Bottle. Pours dark cola almost black with large offwhite head. Aroma is malt, hops, spruce, grapefruit, mint, heather and hints of soy sauce. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter, faint acidic and faint salty. Body is light oily and dry with light carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter.

Bottle shared with Niilstrong @ hotelroom. Brown color with a deep dark mahogany red glare coming through when held into the light, medium sized beige head. Aroma is not very IPA-ish imo. Flavor too doesn’t have what I expect it to have. It’s more of a hoppy brown ale. Gets better after a couple of sips. Ok beer.
