Incredibly sweet booze-bomb, bourbon serving as the dominant flavor, overpowering any barnyard and/or sour brett notes and leading to a cloy, caramel-laden sugary back end. Some lemon-orange in the middle, enough to give the pint a whiskey sour vibe, and a mild oak flourish on the back end adds a woodsy-herbal tint to the massive sweetness. Too little too late, though; the caramel and bourbon are way too aggressive. Good texture, okay pour, and the nose promises a much more complex beer than we actually get. Not for me.

Refrigerated brown bomber from phaleslu poured into a glass. Clear Amber with medium beige head. Aroma is brett, medium body, lower carbonation, and good big-bubble lacing. Taste is oak, some brett, some bourbon, and caramel.
